Lenore E. McQuilling

Lorrie is counsel to the Firm. She has served as Adjunct Professor at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and Special Mediator appointed by the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the New York State Supreme Court.

Lorrie joined Burke & Parsons in 1978 as a paralegal and from 1979 to 1981 she was an Associate. Lorrie joined Walker & Corsa in 1981 as an Associate providing maritime legal services to the P&I and ship owning communities and became a Partner in that Firm from 1988 to 1993. In 1993, she returned to Burke & Parsons and served as a Partner in that firm until 1995 when she joined the Kennedy Lillis Schmidt & English as Counsel in 1995.

During the course of her legal practice, she specialized in investigation, litigation, arbitration and mediation of various claims involving maritime personal injury, death, cargo loss and damage, hull damage, charter party disputes, insurance matters, collisions, allisions, groundings, sinkings, and various other maritime contract and commercial matters.
